Connie Gilly, Program Director
For the past 20 years, Connie has led SERT’s extraordinary program; first as a volunteer and parent of a special needs rider, and later as full time staff. A self-described tomboy, she grew up with horses, owned a horse for 27 years, and devoted decades to promoting the best education and enrichment possible for her daughter Vickie and for all children who have special needs.
If SERT’s horses are the physical embodiment of its programs, Connie is its soul. Her patience is legendary, her gentle persistence brings out the best in every rider, and she delights in celebrating every achievement with them and their families.

Ina Frank, Executive Director
Ina is a long time professional and volunteer leader in Southern California’s nonprofit world. She has been the founding Executive Director and board member of several small and mid-size community organizations, a regional Development Director for large national health organizations, and a specialist in philanthropic giving to help children who are disadvantaged or have special needs. She eagerly came to SERT after just one visit, having seen the wonderful transformation that occurred when children and families experienced SERT’s unique staff, horses, and programs.
