Connie Gilly, Program Director
For the past 20 years, Connie has led SERT’s extraordinary program; first as a volunteer and parent of a special needs rider, and later as full time staff. A self-described tomboy, she grew up with horses, owned a horse for 27 years, and devoted decades to promoting the best education and enrichment possible for her daughter, Vickie, and for all children who have special needs.
If SERT’s horses are the physical embodiment of its programs, Connie is its soul. Her patience is legendary, her gentle persistence brings out the best in every rider, and she delights in celebrating every achievement with them and their families. |
