SERT Horses

SERT's horses are special. All are wonderful animals in their own right. In addition, every horse in the herd has met certain criteria that make it appropriate for training as a therapeutic horse. Our horses are older, gentler animals.

SERT's exceptional herd -

Cimarron Cimarron is a true gentleman. At 30, Cimarron loves working with our young riders. He happens to be a registered Quarter Horse, and answers to the name, "Cimmy."

Rojo, Rojo, 29, is a loving and sensitive Peruvian Paso. For riders with special needs who learn to trot, he gives a smooth ride. Kids at SERT can sometimes be heard laughing during their Rojo rides.

BonnieBelle BonnieBelle takes care of physically challenged riders and is very gentle with the youngest SERT students. Bonnie is sweet and sensitive. She is a true gem. BonnieBelle, 16, is a registered Quarter Horse.

Dundee Dundee, an Oldenburg Warmblood with dressage training, is SERT's biggest, and just may be SERT's gentlest horse - and has a real sweet tooth for red licorice! Dundee is 22 years old, and has introduced many special needs riders to the wonderful world of horses.
