SERT Horses
SERT's horses are special. All are wonderful animals in their own right. In addition, every horse in the herd has met certain criteria that make it appropriate for training as a therapeutic horse. Our horses are older, gentler animals.

Cimarron is a true gentleman. At 28, Cimarron loves working with our young riders. He also happens to be a Registered Quarter Horse, and answers to the name, "Cimmy". |

Lego likes trail rides as well as the arena, and enjoys being with all levels of SERT's special needs riders. One of the youngest of our herd at 14, Lego has a sense of humor. He even likes eavesdropping on human conversations! |

Rojo, 28, is a loving and sensitive Peruvian paso. For riders with special needs who learn to trot, he gives a smooth ride. Kids at SERT can sometimes be heard laughing during their Rojo rides. |

BonnieBelle takes care of physically challenged riders and is very gentle with the youngest SERT students. Bonnie is sweet and sensitive. She is a true gem. BonnieBelle, 14, is a Registered Quarter Horse. |

Dundee, an Oldenburg Warmblook with dressage training, is SERT's biggest, and just may be SERT's gentlest horse - and has a real sweet tooth for red licorice! Dundee is 20 years old, and has introduced many special needs riders to the wonderful world of horses. |

Socks is a 23-year-old pony with a great deal of experience working with children. Socks loves to introduce kids to the joy of riding. |
